ტიმოთი ბლაუველტი (ინგლ. Timothy K. Blauvelt) — საქართველოში მოღვაწე საბჭოთა კავშირის შემსწავლელი ამერიკელი ისტორიკოსი. 2011 წლიდან ილიას სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტის საბჭოთა და პოსტსაბჭოთა კვლევების ასოცირებული პროფესორი.[1] ხუთი წლით ადრე თბილისის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში საბჭოთა პოლიტიკურ ისტორიას ასწავლიდა. საქართველოში პირველად 1999 წელს სადოქტორო დისერტაციის კვლევისთვის (რომელიც მან დაიცვა ბუფალოს ნიუ-ორკის სახელმწიფო უნივერსიტეტში 2001 წელს) ჩამოვიდა და 2002-2003 წლებში დაბრუნდა როგორც ფულბრაიტის მოწვეული პროფესორი. 2003 წლიდან იგი ამერიკული საბჭოების საერთაშორისო განათლებისთვის: ACTR / ACCELS ქვეყნის დირექტორია საქართველოში. გამოქვეყნებული აქვს მრავალი სტატია Ab Imperio-ში რუსული, საბჭოთა და კავკასიის პოლიტიკური ისტორიის, კლიენტალიზმის, ეროვნების პოლიტიკისა და ნაციონალიზმის შესახებ, ევროპა-აზიის, ასევე კომუნისტურ და პოსტ-კომუნისტურ კვლევებზე – ჟურნალ „კრიტიკაში“, ნაციონალიზმის კვლევების, ომისა და საზოგადოების, რევოლუციური რუსეთის შესახებ – ჟურნალში „ენა და სოციალური ფსიქოლოგია და ცენტრალური აზიის კვლევები.[3][4]
