English: A formal black and white portrait of Stanley Price Weir wearing the rank of colonel. Judging by his apparent age, the 10th Battalion colour patch on his shoulder, and the lack of World War I medal ribbons, probably taken when he was appointed Honorary Colonel of the 10th Battalion in March 1921. Photograph would have been displayed in the battalion headquarters for recognition purposes.
