Deutsch: Die Alte Bibliothek auf dem Bebelplatz in Berlin-Mitte wurde für die Königliche Bibliothek Preußens erbaut. Das Haus wurde von 1775 bis 1780 im Stil des Barock erbaut. Sie wird im Volksmund auch als "Kommode" bezeichnet.
English: The Alte Bibliothek (Old Library) at Bebelplatz in Berlin-Mitte was built for the Royal Library of Prussia in 1775-1780 in the Baroque style. It is also being called "Chest".
