Dear გიო ოქრო, thank you for your edits for the Armenian topics. Nevertheless, I should advise you some little point about this one. There is no unit named Պարսկահայաստան (parskahayastan) in Armenian. We were calling it Մարզպանական Հայաստան (marzpanakan hayastan). Thus, if you have any sources, showing that any secondary sources, that the middle-ages or modern historians are calling the unit in the way you have written, please show me. And just two more things for your information.

First and foremost, Armenia was a part of Persia several times:

  • Sasanian period, as Marzpanate, 428-642), after the kingdom of Great Armenia
  • Ilkhanate period (1261-1335). This happened, when Georgian Bagrationi kings liberated Eastern Armenia, and Zakaryan-Mkhargrdzelis became princes of it under the rule of Bagrationis (1198-1261). Then Zakaryans were conquered by them and the Georgians lost their power over Armenia. So, Zakaryans had two periods.
  • Persian Safawi, Afshar and Qajar period (1502-1828, in English Wikipedia - Iranian Armenia (1502–1828) ). In this period we had no states but Artsakh principalities.

This all is "parskahayastan", and it can't be called "parskahayastan" one of the other periods.

Secondly, there was also a Georgian marzpanate, along with kingdom (Վրաց մարզպանություն, vrats marzpanutyun), of which you don't have an article.

In Georgian literature we use term „პერსარმენია“ (Persarmenia) and that page must move. So, I think Պարսկահայաստան – Parskahayastan is apposite. გიო ოქრო 12:57, 21 მაისი 2019 (UTC)[უპასუხე]

I respect Georgian history and historiography, but if you use as a Persian Armenia, but there is no word named Պարսկահայաստան – Parskahayastan: We don't have an Armenian word named like that. Should I be right, if I invent or think up Georgian words, not being Georgian? Parskahayastan is just used in Armenian, with the meaning of Armenian lands in Iran, where we still have churches (mainly Western Azerbaijan province). We never used Parskahayastan with the meaning of Marzpanate, or Armenian principality or something else.
