ადვენტი
ადვენტი (ლათ. adventus, მოსვლა) — დასავლურ ქრისტიანულ ტრადიციაში წინასაშობაო პერიოდი, რომელიც შობამდე აღინიშნება. ადვენტი, დასავლურ ტრადიციაში, არის ქრისტეს შობისადმი მომზადება და მისი მოლოდინი.
პერიოდის სახელწოდება მომდინარეობს ლათინური სიტყვიდან adventus, რაც ქართულად ითარგმნება, როგორც „მოსვლა“. იგივე სიტყვა ახალ აღთქმაში გამოიყენება მეორედ მოსვლაზე საუბრისას. დასავლურ ტრადიციაში ადვენტი „ქრისტეს მოსვლას“ სამი განსხვავებული პერსპექტივიდან განიხილავს - ქრისტეს შობას ბეთლემში, ქრისტეს მიმღებლობას მორწმუნის გულში, და ესქატოლოგიური პერსპექტივიდან, მეორედ მოსვლის კონტექსტში.[1]
ადვენტთან დაკავშირებული წეს-ჩვეულებები მოიცავს ადვენტის კალენდრის წარმოებას, საშობაო გვრიგვინის მომზადებას, ადვენტის ლოცვის კითხვას, საშობაო ნაძვის ხის დადგმას, საშობაო სანთლების დანთებას[2] და საშობაო დეკორაციებით მორთვას.[3][4][5]
