ქიში — უძველესი შუმერული ქალაქი-სახელმწიფო სახრეთ მესოპოტამიაში. ქალაქი ქიში დაარსდა ძვ. წ. IV ათასწლეულის დასსრულს. ძვ. წ. XXVIII საუკუნეში შუმერთა პირველი გაერთიანების ცენტრი.
